McAfee.com customers now have option to use revolving credit to make secure purchases online with eChargeSM Net Account
SEATTLE and SUNNYVALE, CA - OCT. 23, 2000- -- eCharge Corporation, the global online payments company and McAfee.com (NASDAQ: MCAF) a leading security Application Service Provider (ASP) announced today that McAfee.com's customers can now charge their Web-based security services to their eChargeSM Net Account, a unique Internet purchasing solution offering consumers and merchants convenience unavailable in any other online payment method. By offering the eCharge Net Account, McAfee.com becomes the first Internet merchant to offer both eCharge Net Account and eChargeSM Phone, which allows consumers to charge digital goods and services to their telephone bill.

The public trial of eCharge Net Account began in September, and eCharge expects to sign additional merchants throughout the remainder of the public trial period, which will continue through the end of the year.
